A few days ago, I discovered a cool idea in a book – LEGO brick coasters. I could not resist that idea for long. I dug out my LEGO boxes and searched for all 1 row plates I could find. To make the whole thing balanced and interesting, the stones should be as colorful as possible. Today LEGO is available in many colors. In my time, unfortunately, this was not the case. There were only blue, red, yellow, black, white and gray stones. Fortunately, I was able to find a few green, dark gray, burgundy and pink platelets in my box.
The coasters are 12 studs wide and 29 rows high. The top row is completed by tiles. During the build you should make sure that no color from the previous row appears in the next row. If you have enough colors, you should even avoid two rows. This gives a nice color balanced image.
